What we offer - An Overview

When you become a student of Piano and Strings Tutors London the weekly
instrumental lessons are just one element that you will be able to benefit from.

After your initial trial continuing lessons are given in person, online or through a combination of these two lesson delivery methods. Our 30-minute trial sessions are free of charge if you choose to continue with tuition. Lessons are generally given on a weekly basis running in conjunction with the academic year, however it is also possible to purchase blocks of lessons and book these on a flexible basis, which is particularly popular with adult students. Piano and Strings Tutors London provide lessons in Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello and Voice. We also offer Music Theory Tuition, advanced Aural training and Piano Accompaniment, often in support of examinations and auditions.

Performance opportunities are given for those pupils that are prepared with their repertoire. These generally happen twice a year at the end of the Autumn term (as a Christmas Concert) and the Summer term. The concerts take place in venues in Central London (zones 1 and 2).

In partnership with the London Young Musician Competition customers of Piano and String Tutors London are able to benefit from a discount of 15% for entries of any category in this competition.

Masterclasses are essentially open lessons with an audience so more students can take part and benefit from the educational experience. This is an opportunity to hear others play, discover new repertoire and learn from others in an interactive environment. These sessions are given in Central London when sufficient numbers of students are prepared with their performances. Our masterclass tutors hold a lifetime of knowledge and are also available for consultation lessons, when a students repertoire is at performance standard.

As part of your welcome pack we include a book from the highly commended ALL-IN-ONE series when you sign up for lessons. Music theory is so important for having a full understanding when playing pieces on any instrument (and is often overlooked!).

We offer lessons online as well as in person. Many pupils prefer this method of teaching and it has become very popular in recent years.

We are able to recommend keyboard and string instruments for pupils depending on budget, level and age.
